Pam contributes more than 20 years experience in education, publishing, technology and marketing. Her instructional design experience includes projects for corporations, associations, and not-for-profit organizations.
Since joining Digitec in 2003, Pam has designed dozens of eLearning courses for organizations including The Disney Company, InCharge Education Foundation, FINRA, the National Association of College and University Food Services, VERITAS software (now Symantec), and Parsons-Brinckerhoff. She directed all media production for the award-winning Grab Todd’s Cash, a game-based instructional program designed to teach personal finance management to college students. She also served as the producer and instructional designer for Moneytopia, a game-based immersive simulation on money management designed for the military. In addition to eLearning, Pam has also designed web applications for JA Worldwide’s Junior Achievement immersive learning experiences, BizTown and Finance Park.
Prior to joining Digitec, Pam was Director of Marketing and Communications for HTE Government Software, where she created the company’s first web site and implemented numerous new media initiatives as part of her responsibilities. Pam’s experience also includes five years with Harcourt School Publishers (now Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt), where she field tested education materials and produced sales training videos. Before joining the corporate world, Pam was a classroom teacher and also taught at the university level while in graduate school.
Pam holds a Ph.D. degree in Music Education from the University of Miami and an M.B.A. from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She has also engaged in post graduate studies in instructional systems design at the University of Central Florida.
