Presentations
Jack McGrath, President and Creative Director at Digitec Interactive presented on the topic of 'Using Virtual Learning Objects (VLOs) in Distance Learning Curricula' at the 16th Annual Sloan-C International Conference on Online Learning on November 4, 2010 in Orlando, FL. With distance learning, it is often difficult to provide learners with the ability to apply and practice the learning. This presentation addresses those challenges, serves up real solutions, and describes best practices for designing and creating memorable and motivating learner experiences.

Digitec designed and developed the 3-D Virtual Frog Dissection game for Florida Virtual School. Digitec designed the game using Chromadepth 3-D technology, creating depth of field for students wearing 3-D glasses for a more immersive experience, as they use virtual instruments to dissect the frog. The dissection culminates in a Boggles game, where the player applies what they've learned. View the online tour of Virtual Frog Dissection.
