NEFE eLearning Design & Development and Member Portal
The National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping all Americans acquire the information and skills necessary to take control of their personal finances. The High School Financial Planning Program (HSFPP) portal provides resources for students, teachers, parents and sponsors, teaching the basics of personal finance.

NEFE needed a way to continually produce the portal content and release it to various member segments. Digitec implemented Knowledge Direct^® CMS, so that NEFE could easily create web content using various page templates. NEFE uses the built-in workflow management system to internally review, approve and release site content to various departments and channels within the site. The system also provides web-reporting and enables NEFE to publish electronic newsletters (eZines) to subscribers and members.

To support the HSFPP curriculum, Digitec designed and developed the Success Street Sweep eLearning game. The game is highly interactive and teaches students about personal finance as they race against their competitor to the finish line. Digitec designed the eLearning according to the game-space continuum, which uses game-theory to produce highly engaging eLearning.
